What is the best thing about working at Adventure?
It is great working for such a well-rounded and team-orientated company that works together efficiently to bring our customers exactly what they are looking for in all areas of advertising. It’s exciting to work with so many different marketing avenues and I look forward to challenging myself and creating impactful designs for our clients.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Most of my free time is spent at home with family, but our son plays travel ice hockey, so my evenings and weekends are usually spent cheering on him and his teammates at the ice rink! I love documenting their incredible journey and all of the fun places and events we get to travel to. When we aren’t at the rink and the weather is nice, I like to camp and fish at our sportsman’s club.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up and why?
I knew I wanted to be some kind of an artist when I was young because I was always drawing and making pictures for myself and my friends. Learning how to translate that to creating art on a computer was even more fun! I worked on newsletters and yearbooks through school and eventually decided to become a graphic designer and focused on print ad design.
Words I live by
Always give 100% best effort and focus to whatever you are working on. Everything is a learning experience. Even if it’s something you do all the time, try to be present and take a new approach. You might end up finding a better and more efficient solution to your problem!
