the client

Ladtech specializes in manufacturing fully recycled high-density polyethylene manhole adjusting or grade rings that eliminate deterioration problems associated with concrete, brick and rubber rings. Ladtech’s system has been installed throughout the United States and Canada, as well as the Bahamas, Australia and Europe.

the objective

Ladtech had a goal of achieving a page 1 ranking on intent-based searches and outranking their top competitors. They wanted this improved visibility to translate into increases in impressions/awareness, clicks and conversions.

To help Ladtech achieve their objective, our team developed an SEO strategy to target certain keywords searchers were likely to use as a query. We also planned site optimizations to make it more likely to be found by Google.

the work

We started by researching keywords and collaborating with the client to establish a pool of 10 keywords we wanted to target. Once the keywords were finalized, we applied on-page SEO tactics to ensure the site’s content highlighted them. We also utilized off-page SEO tactics to build backlinks and increase the site’s authority.

This SEO work began in 2022, and we monitored the analytics each month and adjusted our tactics as necessary to improve rankings and boost the site’s performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs).

the results

This ongoing SEO effort has been very successful. At the time of writing this case study in 2023, achievements included:

  • 80% of keywords ranked in the top 5
  • 100% of keywords ranked on page 1
  • 5% increase in keywords ranking
  • Organic traffic up 8.5% over the previous year

The SEO tactics we applied have helped Ladtech stand out from their competitors and improve performance in several key metrics. Moving forward, we hope to continue the momentum and keep Ladtech at or near the top of the search engine results page.
